We left the apartment at 9:00 Am and didn't return until 7:30 this evening. We started the day at the orphanage connecting with children chosen to be hosted on the upcoming hosting programs in the US. Trying to get to know the children, find their stregthes and diagnose any potential problems. Then we met with the missionary team from Canada. They are doing a great work here, bringing Christ to a very needy area. We had lunch at their apartment, discussed missions work here in the Ukraine and possibilitites for missions teams. We also discussed the childrenand shared information to attempt to get a better understanding of thei personalities. It was a great time and we receved alot of beneficial information. WE so appreciated their willingness to help us and extend hospitality to us. It was great to have a conversation in English. LOL After meeting with the group we returned to the ophanage to spend a few more hours. Our time there is coming to a clsoe. We will be taking Ana from the orphanage tomorrow and will not be allowed to return after that. We have been told it is time to take her to Kiev. The only way we will ever be able to visit the orphanage again would be with a mission's team or another adoption. I wish we could take all the children home.
