GOOD-BYE

Today we say good-bye to Kiev and the Ukraine, but only for a season. I thought this picture of Ana though similar to the picture I posted yesterday would be most appropriate for today. Ana is pictured with the Kiev skyline behind her and the sun setting last night. This is her last night in the Ukraine, her old life will be behind her as a new life, a new day is dawning today. Tonight when she goes to sleep she will no longer be in the Ukraine, but in Amsterdam Netherlands. The start to a whole new adventure a whole new life, her first chapter of her new life will begin today as she boards the plane in Kiev to fly to America; her new life, where she will find a country full of hope and positive promises for tomorrow and her future. One thing I have really learned while being here is that unlike many other countries, in America there is always hope for a bright future, if we are willing to work, we can be successful in life, we have the opportunity to obtain those dreams. Please watch for future blogs about the hosting program and Ana's adjustments to America, they may not be daily but I will keep in touch as long as you are interested. So good-bye is not to all of you, but to Ukraine for this season.
